The Samsung W23 5G & W23 Flip made their debut today in China. The two most recent products are, respectively, luxury customized versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. The Galaxy W23 5G debuts as the W22 5G from the previous year’s successor. Samsung claims that since 2008, it has introduced a new W-series product each year. The Samsung W23 pair and the fourth-generation Galaxy Z Foldables are most different in terms of design. Gold-plated edges and hinges are a feature of the W23 and W23 Flip. The brand claims that the W23 duo’s hinge shell is carved by nano-level polishing and uses a high-end watch metal precision cutting method. Additionally, we believe that the new hinge structure is thinner and more flexible. The hinged shell also features a stunning embossed metal motif. The center of the “Heart to the world” emblem is present on both the W23 and W23 Flip. The W22 5G with a Black color back panel shares the same color scheme as the most recent releases.
Samsung W23 5G & W23 Specifications
The essential specifications of the Samsung W23 5G and W23 Flip are the same as those of the fourth-generation Galaxy Z foldable. The only difference comes in the design aspect. Samsung did well to increase the RAM and internal storage space of the new W series. The W23 boasts a 7.6-inch internal screen and three cameras on the back: a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP primary sensor. Along with the 10MP camera, there is a 4MP UDC camera. The Samsung W23 and W23 Flip’s main AMOLED display measures 6.7 inches and has a refresh rate of 120 hertz.
The Samsung W23 5G and W23 run on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processors Flip devices. The latter has a 12GB RAM maximum, compared to the former’s 16GB. Both come with 512GB of built-in storage. Battery capacities for the W23 5G and W23 Flip are 4,400mAh and 3,700mAh, respectively.
The price of the Samsung W23 5G for the 16GB + 512GB configuration is about $2,207. The 12GB + 512GB model of the W23 Flip costs roughly $1,379. Both devices are available for pre-order on the official Samsung website. And according to some sources, shipping will start on October 28.
